Here we are at the end of November and the year has only gotten weirder and more difficult… at least for folks that live in my area of BC. For those of you that don’t live around here and don’t watch national (or international) news, a large part of my province has been hit my a crazy amount of rain, which has led to flooding. Well, flooding AND landslides, power outages, road closures, school closures and my town being turned into an island. Yep, Chilliwack was basically cut off from the rest of Canada for a period of time. That, of course, led to panic buying and shortages at the grocery stores and gas stations. Yikes.

Anyways, things have gotten a bit better the past couple of days, but now we’re facing a NEW storm heading our way. Oh boy. But don’t worry about me and my little company. We’re okay, honest.

Now, if you happen to be an essential worker, I want to thank you. Thank you for working when so many others couldn’t or wouldn’t. Thank you for keeping goods in stores and traffic moving and our community and people safe. YOU’RE FUCKING ROCKSTARS AND I FUCKING LOVE YOU ALL!

Now, in other news… the mail is back to moving in and out of Chilliwack (hooray!) and so I’m sending orders just like I was before the big flood.
