I think it goes without saying that the world is in a weird place right now. As much as I’d love to go back to the years in and around 2010 when things were easy and card sales were through the roof, I’m afraid my flux capacitor is broken and I’m stuck here to weather this crazy storm. But at least we’re all in this together and people are REALLY supporting this “Buy Canadian” trend! Hopefully once all this trade war bullshit is over, Canadians will continue to support made in Canada goods because come on – they’re just so good!

Just so you know, everything you can buy from Hug and Kiss Designs Inc. is 100% made in Canada! Not only that, but all of our suppliers (for envelopes and stuff) are Canadian owned and operated. What’s even cooler is that all my cards are handmade BY ME! Yes I get them printed elsewhere (locally-owned family print shop), but I write them, I design them, I crease them, I fold them and I cut them one at a time.  Just me and my human-powered tools. Also, Hug and Kiss Designs is 100% Woman-Owned and Indigenous-Owned! That’s right, while H+K might be incorporated, it’s still just a one-woman show and I’m proudly Indigenous and my cards are made on my ancestral land!
