You’ve probably already heard from your bank about the possibility of an upcoming postal disruption, but I figured your favourite naughty stationery company should probably notify you as well. That’s right folks, it looks like Canada Post negotiations have fallen through yet again, so we might be facing more service disruption as early as next week. As a small business that relies on Canada Post for sending online orders, the possibility of another work disruption sucks. I was really hoping they would be able to work their shit out so things didn’t get shut down again.
Now if you’re in Canada and in the need of a Father’s Day, Birthday, Graduation, Wedding or New Baby card (to name a few), please ORDER NOW and keep your fingers crossed that there are no delays or strikes! Typically Canada Post delivers mail locally in 2 business days, within the province in 3 business day, and 4 business days across Canada. I’m in Cultus Lake, BC and can likely get your order in the mail same or next day, so if you were to order soon, there’s a good chance it could make it to you in time!
If you don’t want to take the risk of a postal disruption, consider going to your local Hug and Kiss retailer. They’re listed on our website! SO many of our lovely retailers are having a hard time right now and I’m sure they’d love your support – even if it’s just for a single card
